The history of the company

The Egyptian shipyard De Birs was founded in 1993 by Tarek Ragheb and has since taken a strong position in the prestigious motor yacht market segment. In 25 years, the company, based on the Mediterranean coast, has managed to establish fruitful relationships with leading designers and equipment suppliers from Europe and the USA. Among them - known Italian design bureau Arrabito Naval Architects and German creators of interiors Egg&Dart.

Production

De Birs production is based in Alexandria in the free economic zone of Amreya. The proximity of sea and air ports provides efficient and fast logistics. In addition, this region of Egypt has a highly skilled workforce and engineering staff.

The area of the yard is 10 thousand square meters, of which 6 thousand are closed premises. Among them there are carpentry, mechanical, electrical workshops and a 22.3 meter long test pool. De Birs plans to further expand its production.

According to the company's policy, only vessels under the De Birs brand are built in the shipyard.

Model range

The De Birs portfolio includes fiberglass gliding yachts with flybridge lengths from 16 to 34 meters.

The flagship of the lineup is the 34-meter model 112RPH, which takes up to 10 passengers and can accelerate up to 28 knots. The crew is separated from the guests and the forward deck with Jacuzzi provides a great opportunity for relaxation. The 100 SPORTS is slightly smaller but boasts Italian design from Arrabito Naval Architects and the interior from London's H2 Yacht Design.

85 RPH LX is more democratic in size and price, but also has some interesting features. These include the modern design, the flybridge with bar and the monolithic structure of the hull and superstructure.

This is manifested in the mandatory separation of areas for the owner/guest and crew, the availability of extensive leisure facilities (Jacuzzi, bar, lounge area, bathing and sunbathing areas) and uncompromising luxury.
