History of the company

The Tamsen Maritim shipyard was founded in 2009 as a result of the purchase by Heiner Tamsen of a shipyard in Rostock, Germany, which was owned by Abeking & Rasmussen - A&R Neptun Boat Service. The new management has reprioritized and shifted from military shipbuilding to the superyacht sector. At the same time, the company still maintains and repairs boats for defense purposes.

Production .

The production capacity of the company is impressive: the total area of all facilities exceeds 50,000 square meters, there is also an equipped quay, a ship lift for 1,500 tons, etc. It should be noted that the company has two of the largest CNC milling machines in Europe, capable of machining components measuring 73m x 14m x 7m. Therefore the shipyard has an enviable list of customers from other shipyards.

The available land makes it possible to expand the yard even more than twice without moving.

Fleet

In the superyacht market the company is still in the early stages of development and has not had time to acquire a rich portfolio. The company builds custom superyachts from 40 to 60 meters in length from composites (which is rare). The choice of lightweight modern materials allows increasing productivity and reducing fuel consumption.

Features

Although Tamsen Maritim itself is quite young, the shipyard is considered one of the most respectable shipbuilding facilities in Germany. It dates back to the 1850s. It is a wealth of experience in designing, repairing and building ships for various purposes. The team is able to work with any materials and, importantly, has the necessary equipment for that.
