About Mariah

History

In 1989, a new boat manufacturer Mariah Boats entered the market. The American company established itself in the popular segment of small boats for water recreation. It produced fiberglass plastic boats with stationary engines.

In 2001, the shipyard announced its closure. The factory and equipment were sold at auction, and the hull forms, patents and rights to the brand were bought by Sea Fox Boats. The new owners have made changes in interior design, added additional features and resumed production in 2003. In general, these boats remained the same, long loved by customers.

Construction of Mariah boats continued until the early 2010s, and in 2014 the trademark was sold to Canadian manufacturers.

Status

The production of Mariah boats is currently at a complete standstill.

Production

After its closure in 2001, Sea Fox management did not consider it necessary to open a new factory to produce Mariah boats. Production was set up at their own shipyard in Goose Crick, South Carolina.

Model range

The model range includes about 10 boats from 5.5 to 8 meters in length. Bowriders have become the smallest members of the Mariah collection. Behind them there are boats with caddy cabin for the weekend off. There are also cruise boats in the portfolio, which are often preferred by fans of more comfortable and longer trips.

Features

Increased buoyancy and strength of the vessel was provided by fiberglass hulls with foam filler. To confirm the reliability and safety of Mariah boats, the manufacturer offered a limited warranty for the hull up to 10 years. The shipyard produced boats in rich basic equipment and was a good competitor to other manufacturers in its price segment.
