History of the company

Turkish company Tansu Yachts was founded by Riza Tansu in 1996 in Istanbul. The shipyard presented its first boat in 1998, the 23.6 meter custom Troy Explorer.

The shipbuilder immediately decided on the direction of work and is engaged in the construction of custom boats. After 20 years, Riza Tansou decided to create the boat of his dreams. The shipyard did not build a yacht for a specific order or client, but at the owner's request. The manufacturer has independently financed the project of the 43.7m Cyclone, which will be sold in the future.

The yacht has attracted a lot of attention with its unusual appearance. She looks like a military cruiser, but it is worth looking inside and the luxury and comfort of a superyacht. In 2018 Cyclone was awarded at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards for Best Exterior.

The Tansu Yachts shipyard continues its work.

Production

Construction is underway at a small factory in Turkey. From 1996 to 2018 the company launched 24 superyachts. The shipyard delivers no more than two boats per year. The shipyard has its own design office and a longstanding partner - Diana Yacht Design Studio.

Fleet

The shipyard's portfolio includes fully customised boats from 23 to 47.3 metres in length. Tansu Yachts manufactures yachts with steel and aluminium hulls for transatlantic crossings.

Cooperation with the Dutch Diana Yacht Design leaves its mark on the model range. Boats are primarily aimed at autonomy, comfort and safety.

Features

Tansu Yachts is a respected shipyard in the superyacht market with a military style design. In the superyacht segment it is quite difficult to find a shipbuilder with such an unusual slope. Small production volumes also allow the company to be more attentive to the construction.
