The Nord Star 42 Patrol was first presented at the Helsinki trade fair in 2018.
Exterior and interior design
Sea SUV replaced its brothers, the 37th and 40th models. As always in the exterior, the manufacturer focuses on powerful trawler shapes. The yacht feels confident and safe with wide aisles on both sides, tall vaults and as many as three entrances to the superstructure.
The interiors contrast with the exterior; here, instead of the ascetic furnishings, the owner will find home comfort, upholstered furniture and a salon in light colours.
Amenities on board
The designers equipped the 42 Patrol with an impressively sized hydraulically powered aft platform. It can easily accommodate a three meter tender or scooter. The salon has a full-fledged kitchen with sink, fridge and oven, while opposite is the dining area with a large U-shaped table.
Under deck there are two double cabins of almost the same size. Each has its own toilet, but one shower is provided.
Features
The boat has good sailing characteristics, thanks to the deep V-shaped hull, it is confident in the water, can reach speeds of up to 42 knots and can walk even in an 8-point storm.
Also, the yacht has an interesting layout - each cabin has its own entrance and the living spaces have no adjacent walls.
