Chinese shipyard Ruying Yacht has built a 38-metre superyacht for Jackie Chan. The ceremony in which the boat was handed over to the world-famous actor took place in the city of Huludao with politicians, movie stars and other notable celebrities.

Jackie Chan is the owner of one of the two Ruying 125 hulls recently built by the yard. The boat is constructed entirely of fiberglass and features a helipad and plenty of outdoor seating. When creating the interiors, prestigious types of wood have been used throughout. It is used for floors, furniture and walls.

Not much else is known about the boat, but it is reportedly powered by twin Caterpillar C32 1900 engines that give her a top speed of 32 knots.

On receiving the highly anticipated yacht, Jackie Chan surprised those present at the ceremony by admitting that he was buying the yacht for the filming of a new movie.

He said that in 2012, when filming the movie «Armor of God 3: Mission Zodiac» urgently needed a large vessel, suitable could not be found, and had to settle for a small yacht, which is very saddened perfectionist Jackie Chan. This time he ordered a boat of the right caliber from China in advance.

Ruying Yachts is a domestically owned boat builder which is not widely known to the world but which has a strong customer base all over China.

The Ruiying 125 was the largest boat built at the yard, but the builder promises to expand its range with 185-foot models in the near future.

The boating industry in the Celestial Empire is gaining momentum with each passing year. Chinese companies operate not only in the domestic market, but also buy out shipyards in other countries.
