A superyacht that fell off a dry cargo ship has been delivered to Palma

My Song is being towed to the pier in Palma.

The sailboat was a frequenter of regattas and took prize-winning places.

It was for the Loro Piana regatta that My Song was on board a dry cargo ship. The boat was to defend its champion title.

Now she's certainly not interested in regattas. The photos capture a sad picture of damage to the hull, rudder pen and deck.

The Baltic Yachts shipyard, which built My Song in 2016, has a repair site in Palma. The shipyard has stated that it will provide all possible assistance in restoring the sailing vessel.

The instagram account of yacht insurance company Brokmar posted photos of the sailing superyacht My Song in Palma, where the boat was towed after it fell off a dry cargo ship while being transported from the Caribbean Sea to the Mediterranean. The 40-metre racing sailboat was lifted out of the water to the shore to assess its condition. The yacht is now at the STP yard.

My Song fell off the board of the dry cargo ship that was carrying her on May 26. This happened off the coast of Menorca. The company-carrier organized a rescue mission, as a result of which the yacht was successfully towed to Palma. The carrier concluded that the cause of My Song's downfall was the breakdown of the keel block assembled by the boat's crew.
