«While the 80-meter» Project Cosmos is being built at the shipyard, Galactica Super Nova continues to be the largest boat in Heesen history. The design was inspired by the multi-award winning yacht Galactica Star.
Exterior and Interior Design
The exterior of the Galactica Super Nova is as sleek and light as is possible for a boat of this size. The sleek and elegant profile is in perfect harmony with the stowage inside. Her exterior styling is among the best of the best, from stingray leather to exquisite calfskin, and her exterior and interior finishes are exquisite.
Onboard amenities
A generous 357 square meters of deck space provides an extensive choice of recreational facilities on board, ranging from a sun deck to a beach club. The beach club, which is already enormous, is made even more impressive by its folding platforms which add an extra 44 square meters to the deck area. Its glass ceiling is simultaneously a transparent bottom of the 6-meter swimming pool with a counter current and a whirlpool area.
The guests will also be pleased with the forward transformer deck that can be used as a helipad, a movie theater, or even an open-air dining room.
A glass elevator of a cylinder shape, looking rather spectacular in its cosmic form, connects all the decks.
The VIP stateroom is located on the bridge deck and overlooks the skyline of the island.
Special features
Galactica Super Nova is no stranger to unusual sailing, but her most distinctive feature is the inherent speed of the big ones. So, during sea trials in the North Sea «Galactica» she reached the speed of 0,3 knots higher than the designed maximum of 30 knots.
