Model GTS 187 is the first water-jet boat produced by the Glastron shipyard. The Rotax 4-TEC engine is able to provide the boat with a truly jet-accelerated, windy ride for waterskiing enthusiasts and a decent speed-up for wakeboarders. It has a choice of 150, 200 and 250 hp engines. But the main advantage of a waterjet engine is that it does not need a propeller, and this of course increases the safety of water sports.
Since the Rotax engine is compact and takes up little space, the small boat has managed to arrange what is called a three-level seat - a sofa for sunbathing, then a bathing platform and then another extended platform, which is also a launching pad for wakeboarding and water skiing enthusiasts.
Thanks to its patented SSV housing, the Glastron GTS 187 aligns quickly with minimal nose lift, is stable at high speed and runs well in curves. The outer shell of the boat is covered with premium gelcoat and the cockpit floor is made of fiberglass.
Like the other boats in the GT series, the GTS 187 boasts a fashionable appearance with a hull painted in two colors and decorated with graphics. The interior space is decorated with sports seats-buckets upholstered with vinyl and chrome-plated dashboard sensors. For total happiness, the boat is equipped with a Sony audio system.
