The aluminium ketch Seven is the 62nd Perini Navi yacht and the third in a 60m series including Seahawk and Perseus^3.

The launching and christening ceremony for Seven took place at the shipyard's headquarters in Viareggio in the presence of the Owner, his family and guests.

Superyacht Seven is the product of a collaboration between Perini Navi's design team and naval architect Ron Holland. The interior design was carried out by the Italian based interior design firm Dante O. Benini & Partners. This is the first time Dante O. Benini has collaborated with Perini Navi.

Like Perini Navi's other 60m yachts, Seven features a sleek, streamlined hull and superstructure. Designed for maximum performance while maintaining the comfort of a cruising yacht, Seven is equipped with two aluminium Panamax masts with rigging, boom and carbon fibre braces which will carry sails totalling over 2,000 square metres.

Seven will undergo sea trials before heading to the Monaco Boat Show where she will receive her world premiere.

«The launching of Seven is a very joyful occasion. The realisation of this project, on which we worked closely with the owner, is a major achievement for us. This is the first hull built since the partnership agreement with the Tabacchi family. It demonstrates that the company has kept its values intact while at the same time reinforcing the leadership position of the brand»," said Lamberto Tacoli, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director of Perini Navi.

In May 2017, the Perini Navi Group, which owns the Perini Navi and Picchiotti brands, announced the acquisition of a 49.9% stake in the group by the Tabacchi family.
