Andrey Nevzorov started building the expedition vessel «Epsilon» in a warm hangar in Zelenograd.
He took Bruce Roberts' 14-meter sailing cruiser Spray 460 as the basis of the project. This boat was designed in accordance with the requirements of Lloyd's Register category 1, i.e. it can sail everywhere without restrictions.
The navigator will publish the main stages of construction on his website saillife.ru. He hopes to have the vessel set in time to the beginning of navigation - 2017, and then slowly bring it to mind on their own, or order the interior and equipment in Turkey or Poland.
In 2011-2014 Andrey Nevzorov together with his wife Elena sailed around the world on the ten-meter sailing yacht «Delta». This achievement was recognized by the award «Yachtsman of the Year» in the category «Best Long-Distance Sport Cruise». After their voyage, the Nevzorovs told journalists that they are already planning their next adventure on a yacht equipped by their own forces.
