Russian traveler Fyodor Konyukhov safely crossed the Pacific Ocean on the paddle boatTurgoyak. He finished on May 31 in the town of Mululaba on the east coast of Australia. The voyage began on December 22, 2013, in the port of Konkon(Chile) and lasted 160 days. In an interview with journalists, Konyukhov admitted that it was very difficult, especially in the last days. "The main difficulty of this particular kind of trial is its monotony. Every day I tried to row for 18 hours, sleep for 20-25 minutes, but not more than two and a half hours a day. On the other hand, I walked with God's help; all the biggest hurricanes passed me by, the boat never turned over, I was helped by the tail currents," - ITAR-TASS agency quotes the traveler.
