Company history

Tecnorib was opened in 2005 as a subsidiary brand of Pirelli, an Italian car tire manufacturer. The mission of the new company was to design, manufacture and promote a new range of RIB boats.

Tecnorib has two challenges ahead of it. Firstly, to increase the popularity of the product, which had previously been considered secondary for the company, as well as customer loyalty to it. Secondly, new boats must meet the high quality standards of the Pirelli brand and maintain its reputation.

Status

The shipyard works, actively participates in exhibitions, is represented in the press and social networks.

Production

Tecnorib is located in Rescaldina (Milan), the centre of excellence in the inflatable boat segment. Hence the high demands placed on its employees. Here, experienced craftsmen work to transform their knowledge and skills into know-how. The company also pays great attention to communication and the maintenance of effective partnerships.

Model range

The company produces RIB boats, tenders, water jets and walkaround boats.

The first boat of the Pirelli 770 brand made its debut at Pirelli Regattas in Santa Margherita Ligure in May 2006. The Pirelli 1400 is a winner of the Red Dot Design Award. Since 2017, Tecnorib has launched the Pirelli 1900, a fast motor yacht that has become a flagship in her class.
