About

Company history

Daniele Rizzo is well known in yachting circles. He initially worked as a designer for Aicon Yachts, but since 2009 he has been on his own and opened a design studio, designing many small vessels for Italian shipyards. Daniele had been hatching the idea of boats under his own brand for quite a while and by 2016 he founded Aurea Yachts.

The shipyard's first boat was presented at the Cannes trade fair in September 2017. The model received an award as the «most elegant boat of the year», which was a good advertisement for the young brand.

Production

The company has not yet had time to acquire its own production facilities, but the quality of construction is maintained at an appropriate level thanks to the good connections and experience of Daniele Rizzo in the industry.

Model range

Aurea is almost the only motor catamaran yard in Europe. between 9 and 12 meters long. The company offers models with open deck, top and semi-closed saloon. The vessels are designed for short cruises in warm climates and offer ample space for outdoor relaxation both aft and fore.

Features

Despite their compact size, Aurea yachts are A-class in terms of seaworthiness. However, the catamaran hull type offers a higher level of comfort than standard boats. Advantages include the Yacht Extension inflatable platforms (optional), which go out from the stern and almost doubles the useful deck space.
