About

History of the company

Peter Nikula was designing boats, but always wanted something more, so the idea of a new Alukin brand appeared. He personally designed the hull and started making a prototype in his own garage, which was ready by 2006. Two years later the model was presented at the local «All for the Lake»Show, and in 2009 the shipyard was named «Beginner of the Year in the boat» industry by Practical Boat Ownership magazine.

In 2018 the company joined the Nimbus Group, which includes the Nimbus, Paragon Yachts and Bella subsidiary with the Flipper, Aquador and Falcon brands.

Production

Alukin's production facilities are located in Sweden in Roslagen, where the full production cycle is located under one roof. Here new boats are developed, assembly works are carried out and the head office is located.

Model range

Alukin boats are respected in the private sector and by professionals. The company produces aluminum boats with outboard engines six to nine meters long. These include models with trawler deckhouse, central console, bowriders, walkaround vessels, etc.

Features

Alukin boats stand out among many similar manufacturers with their price policy.

With a traditionally high level of Swedish quality, the company strives to minimise final costs and avoids intermediaries. All boats can be ordered directly from the shipyard without the need for dealers.

The merger with Nimbus also gave the shipyards access to customers all over the world and to an already extensive network of service centers.
