Perini Navi Baracuda Valletta Overview
There's no mistake about the name - the boat is called exactly Baracuda, with one R, because the owner doesn't like how the double R sounds (and looks). This boat was one of the latest in the 50-meter Perini line. The boat features an unusual hull color - metallic gray with a gold hue - and sails in an absolutely incredible fiery gold color. The unconventional look of the boat is also supported by the portholes of unconventional rectangular shapes and proportions. Technically Baracuda has a number of sophisticated technical features - her keel has a built-in centreboard, for example, so that her draft can be varied from 4m to 9.7m. The depth of the swim platform can be adjusted down to 20 centimeters below water level. The interior of the boat is characterized by geometric minimalism - minimum wood (a combination of lightened oak as flooring) and wenge, large white vertical surfaces.
