Designed by one of the most unusual and talented yacht designers of our time, the Dutchman Andrew Hoyk, Drumfire is the third boat in his TC 78 (TC stands for Truly Classic) series. It is the first yacht in the series with not one but two cockpits: the "working" one (aft) and the "social" one (near midships). According to the designer himself, it is his own solution based on his experience of sailing in warm waters of the Mediterranean (Drumfire, unlike its predecessors, was planned to be used exactly there). Originally conceived as a racing yacht capable of competing in the Classic Yacht division the designer wanted to win the Superyacht Cup Palma 2011 and a few years earlier she won several design and construction prizes. The interior is classicist, with cherry joinery on cherry wood and gleaming white panelling, while the generous use of Cuban Mahogany mixed with elegantly patterned panelling makes the interior a very classy affair.
