Alloy Yachts Janice of Wyoming Overview

Janice of Wyoming was the 12th yacht built by the successful Ed Dubois/Alloy yachts tandem. This yacht was built for a demanding client who wanted control over all phases of design and construction. The design brief included the requirement for very long range capability and consequently a very high degree of autonomy. Another consequence of this requirement was the owner's office on board, equipped with advanced telecommunication facilities - the owner wanted to be able to hold videoconferences from almost anywhere in the world's oceans. The interior of the yacht was designed with the owner's help and it features unique Wyoming fossils along with walnut wood that were used for decoration. The design of the yacht has been given a great deal of attention with the unusual steering posts in the fast-transforming cockpit.
