RMK Marine Nazenin V Overview

The Nazenin V was built for Rami Mustafa Kosa, the richest man in Turkey, owner of Koç Holding, a giant financial-industrial conglomerate that accounts for 5% of all Turkish exports. It took more than five years to design and build a boat of this length, because the owner had specific requirements for comfort, safety, ease of operation and handling. Sparkman & Stephens had to mobilize all its forces to meet the owner's demands which led to Sparkman & Stephens being recognized in 2010 with the Judges' Special Commendation for a sailing yacht over 45 meters for "outstanding design, exceptional quality, and excellent workmanship". The Client himself received a special award for "his contribution to the creation of a yacht of great industrial importance". The boat has a very rich (after all this is the East!) teak interior inlaid with sycamore and copper and upholstered furniture covered in expensive fabrics in "nautical" tones.
