Blohm + Voss Enigma Overview

7
cabin

The creator of this yacht is the designer Martin Francis. It was built at the Blohm & Voss shipyard for Emilio Azcarraga, a Mexican media tycoon. Ascarraga then sold the yacht to Oracle founder Larry Ellison. In 1999, the vessel was sent to one of the Lürssen shipyards for modernization. The seaplane and tender area was converted into a basketball court, the restaurant hall was expanded, and a fitness room and bathing platform were added to the ship. Today, the boat is the property of Edan Barclay ($2.3 billion fortune, 42nd on the list of the world's richest people), who runs the business of his father David Barclay and his twin brother Frederick.

This boat used to be called: Eco; Katana
