Blohm + Voss Lady Moura Overview
At the time of her launch, Lady Moura was one of the most expensive and innovative yachts in the world. In many ways, she still is. She served as a family residence for nearly 30 years for one owner and was offered for sale for the first time since her construction in late 2019 through broker Camper & Nicholsons.
Exterior and interior design
All doors, windows, roof (including over the pool), bridges, cranes and other moving parts on board are hydraulically operated. Hydraulically operated hatches conceal tenders, anchors and even navigation lights when not in use. This ensures that they do not spoil Lady Moura's appearance.
While relaxing at the beach club, located on Lady Moura's midships, guests can access the water from both port and starboard balconies.
Onboard Amenities
Lady Moura's seven cabins, totalling 2600 sqm, have a private deck for exclusive family use.
The Owner wanted a huge space for the dining room with a 23m table (designed by David Linley) for his family and many friends. At every meal, Lady Moura has the freshest bread, prepared in the onboard bakery.
There are also several medical offices on the boat. If necessary, the owner, his guests and crew use their own.
Features
The letters on the sides and aft transom are made of 24-karat gold leaf.
A Sikorsky S76B helicopter, for which a helipad is equipped on the upper deck, can transport everyone from land to the yacht.
An advanced remote monitoring system has been installed on board, which allows for real-time monitoring of the boat's condition. This, among other things, ensures that the vessel's operating costs are extremely low for its class.
