Brand history
The career of designer and naval architect Juan Carlos Espinosa went up a notch after graduating from university. In 1985, he joined a design studio in Chicago and was involved in the design of the largest superyacht in the United States at the time.
After only five years, Juan created his own company - Espinosa Yacht Design. He received almost immediately an order from American politician Jim Moran for the construction of the superyacht Gallant Lady, which was nominated for Best in the World Superyacht Awards in 1992.
Philosophy
Espinosa's handwriting is easy to recognize - it combines avant-garde style with functionality, elegant engineering and technical solutions.

In the company's portfolio you can find completely different boats. Here we develop serial flybridge models, sportsfishers, Raised Pilothouse boats and of course superyachts.
Cooperation with shipyards
In almost three decades, Espinosa Yacht Design has managed to implement projects in yards on all inhabited continents. Among the most famous partners are such giants as Feadship, Jade Yachts, Horizon, Trinity Yachts, Delta and others.
Landmark projects
The team worked on the ocean explorer Jade 959, the famous 39-metre superyacht Sinbad, which won the International Superyacht Design Award. The studio also designed the exteriors for the Hard 97. This boat was designed on the basis of the Pomorskiy kocha - invented in XI century by the inhabitants of coastal villages of the White Sea.

The studio is located in the USA in Stewart near the Atlantic coast. Espinosa is still actively involved in the work.
