History of the company

The Spanish shipyard Viudes Yachts boasts glorious stories that date back to the distant 1950s. Many famous boats were launched from the shipyard's s slipway, one of which was even owned by the King of Spain. But in the new millennium, the manufacturer entered into a bad financial situation, and the number of orders was steadily declining.

The situation changed with the arrival of the entrepreneur Alexander Medvedev. At the height of the European crisis in 2008, he decided to build a boat for himself and show Viudes' capabilities to potential clients.

The construction of the 45-meter Viudes Pride was quite difficult and took about five years. Constant problems in the face of the crisis occurred with contractors who delayed or did not fulfill agreements at all. After finishing the hull in Spain, the manufacturer transported the boat to the Mondo Marine Shipyard to complete the interior decoration, as most of the suppliers for interior decoration were located in Italy.

Despite all the difficulties, the result met the owner's expectations and was warmly welcomed by potential customers, and the shipyard began to receive new orders.

Fleet

The shipyard built superyachts in the range from 24 to 45 meters. The company produced steel and aluminium boats for speed lovers as well as for clients who prefer long transatlantic crossings.
