The history of the company

The founder of the company Morozov Yachts - Alexander Morozov - since early years was fond of the sea and spent most of his life on water. He started his sailing career on the 65-foot training yacht Ushkuynik,«»then participated in various races. He took part in competitions in children and youth classes Optimist, Cadet, 420, 470 and then sailed in Baltic Sea on cruise yachts. After graduating from high school, he studied at the Admiral S.O. Makarov Higher Maritime Academy in Moscow.Saint Petersburg.

He started his professional marine career as a navigator and finished as a long distance captain. He has worked for Ro-Ro and container ships of the Baltic Shipping Company and the German company Senator Lines, delivering cargo worldwide from Europe to the USA and Australia. In 1991, he co-founded Mortrans, one of the first freight forwarding companies in the new Russia to transport heavy and oversized cargo around the world.

In 1998 Alexander Morozov founded a private yacht shipyard Morozov Yachts - one of the first in Russia - which builds sailing and motor yachts up to 50 feet.

Since 2005 the owner of the shipyard has moved to Spain, where he continues to design and build yachts.

Production .

From 1998 to 2005, Morozov Yachts built boats at its own shipyard in St. Petersburg, and then began using contractors in Europe. The boats are designed by Morozov Yachts' design office, as well as by renowned studios and designers, including Teixido & Harrold, Jarek Kanios, Olivier van Meer and others.

Morozov Yachts also provides boat transport services around the world.

Model range

The shipyard offers its clients boats made entirely according to individual designs or semi custom models with the possibility of design changes. Morozov Yachts' portfolio includes yachts made in classic and modern styles.

The range of motor boats is dominated by trawler type yachts, as well as sea off-road vehicles.
