A yacht built especially for the founder of Boeing Aircraft is up for sale. The vessel, named Taconite, is 125 feet long and was launched 85 years ago.
Owned by the Boeing Aircraft Company for over 47 years, the Taconite is considered one of the largest privately owned boats in the 1930's with seating for 10 guests in 5 cabins.
In 1987 she was purchased from the Boeing family and extensively restored.
Now the boat is being sold by Emerald Pacific Yachts at a price of $2.5 million.
