Great interest of the public at the Lauderdale International Boat Show 2017 the debut of 42 Cantius, a compact 13-metre yacht from Cruisers Yachts.. With its small size the boat surprises with the feeling of space on board and the amount of space it can hold.
The exterior of the 42 Cantius reflects the traditional style and sophistication of her elders, while the elegant interior design is an extension of the attractive image.
Sliding glass doors visually unite the saloon space and the open part of the main deck. Together with the generous glazing, they provide a 360-degree view.
The yacht has everything for a comfortable and exciting sailing experience. The C-shaped cockpit seating area has a folding table that transforms it from a sunbathing area into a mini-dining room. And the swim platform is equipped with a bar and grill. All this is complemented by a functional galley and lounge areas aft and in the salon.
On board there are 2 cabins with personal toilets. They are flooded with sunlight during the day thanks to the large windows. The master cabin occupies the full width of the forward section and is additionally equipped with a shower cabin.
Maneuverability of the boat is provided by two 370 HP Volvo Penta IPS500 engines and a joystick on the dashboard for easy handling even in tight conditions.
Compact boat sizes are no longer a sign of limitations, and boat builders are only confirming this with each passing day. Another prime example of this is the 29-metre Explorer Lacey Kay from Nordhavn .which is capable of covering 8,500 nautical miles in standalone mode.
