TheNumarine 78HTS is a modification to the successful 78HT. Assembly of the first hull began in May 2017 and the finished yacht will be launched in the summer of 2018, after which she will travel to the USA, where she will be operated by the owner, who is, oddly enough, a Hong Kong resident.
«The Silent Pack» is one of the options that can be installed on board. It is a special energy-saving system which allows you to switch on the generator to charge the battery for a very short period of time. So you have perfect quietness almost all the time, disturbed only by the sound of waves, but all systems continue to work as usual: air conditioning, kitchen equipment, audio and video systems. The ability to so quickly charge the battery is achieved by using particularly high-capacity lithium batteries.
However, even without the optional package, Numarine HTS remains one of the quietest boats in its class. When cruising at a cruising speed of 20 knots, the noise level on the lower deck is only 66 decibels, the same as a standard human speech. Such a high level of noise and vibration reduction has been achieved through the use of the latest technologies and developments in noise control.
The Numarine 78HTS is designed to retain both elements. To achieve this, the flybridge is offset towards the stern. The flybridge itself is also noteworthy. It has 4 comfortable and adjustable sun pads which allow guests to mingle with the skipper while sunbathing and fully appreciate the speed that the new Numarine can go at.
All the basic features have been retained from the hardtop model. She remains 78 feet long and can travel at 37 knots powered by twin MAN V-12 engines. Not only the incredible speed is kept, but also the dynamics. All internal spaces have also been retained, with a spacious saloon filled with natural light through a glass ceiling, four comfortable staterooms on the lower deck, and a full-beam master stateroom on the lower deck. The guest stateroom and spacious Master suite are furnished in a very special style that totally conveys the feeling of Eastern luxury. The master stateroom includes a separate dressing area and a spacious shower with two sinks.
The Numarine 78HTS successfully solved the problem of separating the guest area from the crew area by placing the kitchen and service staterooms aft on the lower deck. This way, guests are not disturbed by the smells coming from the kitchen and service becomes more discreet. This arrangement also frees up space in the salon, which is now filled with bar and dining areas as well as a large C-shaped settee.
Turkish shipyard Numarine plans to unveil the new model in summer 2018, but it is available for pre-order now.
