The first races of the sailing World Cup stage in Olympic sailing classes - Jera Regatta -started today in Jera. Russia is represented by 14 crews in nine out of ten classes. This year ISAF has changed the rules of the World Cup by abolishing the qualifications and limiting the number of crews in each class to the top forty. The Yeer regatta is the third World Cup event following the Melbourne and Miami events. The next rounds will be in June in Weymouth, Great Britainand in September in Qingdao, China . The World Finals will be held in Abu Dhabi at the end of October.
