Jerg Kaufman tried his hand at everything. He sold computers, built a train, judged regattas, but in the end, he got bored and left everything and went travelling. It could go on like that for a long time, but he got lucky and found himself in photography. He says of himself: when I'm away from the sea I miss the mountains, when I'm away from the mountains I long for the sea.
