The big story called the Volvo Ocean Race has come to an end. The seven monohulls have sailed nearly 40,000 miles across all oceans and continents. In the Indian Ocean, one of the boats ran aground and damaged the hull. On the approach to Cape Horn the fleet was rocking and tossing so that Dongfeng Race'smast was broken. The others sustained only minor damage. The amount of gadgets on the boats was strictly limited, so there were no obvious winners technically. The teams were neck and neck, and one of the races ended with colorful photo-finish. We are looking forward to even more exciting competition in 2017!
