Company history

The Ukrainian shipyard Fifth Ocean Yachts started building yachts at the Ocean shipyard i«»n the late 2000s. The choice of a place for the future shipyard was not accidental - in Nikolaev the yachts have been under construction since XVIII century. Dutch design studio Ginton Naval Architects was directly involved in the design of Fifth Ocean Yachts boats from the very beginning.

In order to successfully compete in the market of luxury yachts, the company decided to combine relatively low prices of yacht production in Nikolaev with European achievements of modern shipbuilding.

Fifth Ocean Yachts has attracted world famous designers - Guido de Groot Design, Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architect, Barracuda Yacht Design and many others. Thanks to their experience and successful partnerships, Fifth Ocean Yachts has quickly become a renowned European luxury megayacht builder.

Production

Fifth Ocean Yachts used the capacity of the «Ocean»Shipyard, located on the left bank of the South Bug river in the city of Nikolaev. Since 2012 the production area of the shipyard is more than 2000 sq.m. Steel was used in the construction of boat hulls, a separate furniture workshop was engaged in interior finishing of premium class. In addition to yacht construction the company was engaged in refitting and repair of vessels.

Fleet

At the heart of the Fifth Ocean Yachts range are luxurious motor yachts with steel hulls from 20 to 50 meters in length.

Features

With comparable levels of quality and comfort, Fifth Ocean Yachts, according to the shipyard itself, is 30% cheaper than its European and North American competitors.
