Holland Jachtbouw A Sulana Overview
The YII has been specially designed to show maximum speed in the weak winds of the Mediterranean. She has a powerful sailing armament with a very high power output. She has a number of features designed into her systems: automatic folding bimini, anchor through the hull, touch screens in the wheelhouse, etc. The exterior and interior of the yacht is minimalist - nothing is superfluous. The interior layout is quite unusual for a yacht of this type, with the owner's cabin forward and the crew cabin aft: with a "Mediterranean" mooring (stern to berth) the owner's cabin is located in a quiet zone. The interior of the yacht, designed by John Manford, is simple, but quite refined, as is typical of this designer's work. The primary wood in the interior is pear wood, contrasting with the white trim panels and the light gray upholstery on the upholstered furniture. The floor is made of dark wenge wood, and a number of vertical surfaces are covered with dark brown wicker leather, looking extremely original and unusual in a yacht interior.
