Samar was built by the British shipbuilder Devenport and certified by Lloyd 's and ISA. This four-deck yacht can accommodate 14 passengers. The access from one deck to the other is via an elevator. One of them has a helipad. Three Wärtsila generators will supply the two 2,412hp electric engines, giving the yacht a top speed of 16.5 knots. Additional accessories include a 33-foot Chris Craft tender and a Mini Cooper car. The owner is Kuwaiti businessman Kutayba Alghanim.
