Benetti shipyard has launched a new yacht, the 60-metre Formosa, sold in 2012. The new steel and aluminium vessel touched the water on December 4.
Powered by twin MTU 12V4000 M53 engines, she will be capable of speeds up to 16 knots, with a cruising speed of 15 knots. She has a cruising range of five thousand nautical miles at 12 knots.
Five cabins are planned for 10 guests and the owner has a whole deck area dedicated to his/her quarters.
The Sinot Design Studio is known to have worked on the design of the Formosa and the owner of the vessel participated in the decoration as well.
