In a significant achievement for the yachting brand Benetti, the Italian shipyard has recently secured a contract for a 72-metre B.Now model, featuring the yard's distinctive Oasis deck. With an anticipated delivery date set for 2027, this project marks a pivotal moment for the shipyard's growth, as it will be the largest semi-custom model in the fleet. This achievement is particularly notable because Benetti has traditionally focused on constructing such big yachts to individual specifications upon request (say full-custom). The shift toward semi-custom models enables Benetti to deliver quickly and increase sales volume.
Designed by esteemed British studio RWD, the steel and aluminium yacht prioritises spacious owner's areas and versatile living spaces. Notable features include a meticulously crafted layout that enhances the yacht's exterior aesthetics through extended windows, creating a visually elongated appearance. Moreover, the vessel boasts a private owner's deck with breathtaking views, two en-suite cabins and a lounge area with a private bar.
B.Now 72 with an Oasis deck
The main deck of the B.Now 72M accommodates seven cabins, including a VIP cabin that spans the impressive 12.5-meter beam in the forward section of the yacht. One of the highlights is the Oasis deck, which showcases its signature infinity pool. In addition to the Oasis deck, the owner and guests can enjoy a large sundeck equipped with a spa pool and sun pads as well.
Andrew Collett, the principal of RWD, emphasised that this flagship model offers the largest and most exceptional version of the Oasis deck to date, with a design that prioritises ultimate guest privacy, a seamless connection to the surrounding environment, and a luxurious pool lifestyle.
He further expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration with Benetti, stating, "Building on the worldwide success of the B.NOW Series and strengthening RWD's ongoing collaboration with Benetti has led to the creation of the 72M B.NOW with Oasis Deck."
Owners will have the opportunity to customise the yacht's interior to their personal preferences. Upon completion, the B.Now 72M will become the sixth-largest yacht in the Benetti fleet, a testament to the shipyard's commitment to pushing boundaries and delivering exceptional vessels.
A record and an anniversary
This summer, Benetti proudly commemorates its 150th anniversary of yacht building. Originating from Viareggio, Italy, in 1873, Benetti has evolved into one of the world's premier superyacht shipyards. The shipyard's management team arranged a three-day celebration from June 16 to 18, uniting owners, industry representatives, and skilled craftspeople to honour Benetti's remarkable 150-year journey in the maritime world.
