The history of Maori Yacht

Italian Maori Yacht started with the production of 15-meter tenders. Their excellent characteristics, combined with the wide range of customization options, have brought the company success. And allowed the shipyard to go beyond the concept of tenders and start producing a whole series of boats.

The founder of Maori Yacht, Oberdan Chimenti, whose entire life was about the sea - as a sailor, then captain and shipbuilder - was finally able to make his dream come true and start his own business in 2007. The company collaborates fruitfully with the renowned design firms Nauta Design and Ken Freigvokh Design. Designer Marco Ciampa is involved in the design of Maori boats. 

Current status

Today, Maori Yacht has a production facility for superyachts with hulls up to 38.2 metres. In its market policy, the company has plans to expand its presence in various yachting regions. To this end, it opened representative offices in Monaco and Miami. 

Production of Maori Yacht

Maori Yacht's production and headquarters are located in Sardinia. The shipyard's customers have the opportunity to personalize the future boat. Such is the constant policy of the manufacturer: to help make each vessel as individual as possible. The team of designers headed by Marco Champa creates advanced recognizable products, thought out to the slightest detail. The company's engineers are always looking for new shapes and solutions to make boats not only beautiful but also ultra-modern and reliable.

Maori Yacht's model range

The shipyard builds composite motor boats from 11 to 38 metres long with excellent speed characteristics and bright sporty designs. These designer yachts can be used as tenders and as self-sufficient pleasure boats. Moreover, a client of Maori Yacht will find open versions and semi-closed models with hinged or rigidly fixed tops.

The format of a yacht tender played a major role in the original development of the brand's boats, freeing them from following some «common places» in yachting. Add to this a recognisable premium look, born in Sardinia but inextricably linked to the tradition of Italian design.
