Galeon 500 Fly is the new model from Galeon Yachts. The yacht was nominated for Yacht Trophy in two categories: for the innovative concept and for the best boat design up to 24 meters.

The boat is almost 16 meters long and 4.44 meters wide. The boat is completed with two engines with total power from 1250 to 1450 hp. The boat has 2 fuel tanks of 900 liters and two water tanks of 320 and 720 liters each. When fully loaded she is capable of reaching speeds of up to 31 knots.

Thanks to innovative technology, she boasts the maximum use of interior space.

«For the first time on a boat of this size,» beach mode is available: the folding sides extend the yacht's width to 6 meters, turning the galley into an open bar.

Each side has a maximum carrying capacity of 400kg. Opposite the bar there is a sofa that can be reclined on either side. Three cockpit options are also available: garage and sun pads, a classic L-shaped sofa and cockpit, or a 360 degree rotating sofa and a small garage.

The forward section of the yacht has three further sofas and a table that can be covered by a bimini top if required. The flybridge can hold a wet bar, sun pads and an additional control station.

The lower deck has been designed to provide accommodation for two double cabins and one cabin with a pull-out double on starboard side. The master stateroom occupies the entire width of the deck. She benefits from huge windows and a separate bathroom.

Galeon Shipyard will be presenting its new product at the Cannes Boat Show , which will be held from 8-13 September.
