Greek shipyard Technohull has unveiled its new flagship: the 13.8m superfast RIB-tender Omega 45. The boat was unveiled during the Miami International Boat Show, held from 14 to 18 February.

The Omega 45 is capable of accelerating to 78.2 knots. Its deep V hull is designed using the patented and well proven DynaStream technology.

The tender is powered by three or four engines ranging from 300 to 400 horsepower. These can be outboard or inboard if the owner so desires. At maximum configuration, the tender can cruise at a cruising speed of 52.1 knots.

« This is the ideal RIB for those who want to spend a weekend on the water and not have to worry about the distance that can be covered in that time», according to Technohull.

One of the additional options provided by Technohull is the installation of a bow thruster which will make steering the already maneuverable and at the same time stable tender even more comfortable. Future owners may also be interested in the night vision cameras and the autopilot function.

A modern central console with multifunctional displays and four impact-resistant seats next to it are all under the protection of the hardtop. However, at the customer's request, it can be abandoned, or, on the contrary, the cockpit can be further protected by adding an awning to the hardtop.

The cockpit is quite spacious (the width of the Omega 45 is 3.5 metres), with a U-shaped sofa and a table. An optional sofa or a small galley with wet bar and fridge can also be fitted. For storage you can use the storage compartments hidden under the deck in the sunbathing area.

Inside, the Omega 45 boasts a full bathroom with shower.
