The Monaco Yacht Show 2019 was launched today. The itBoat team is already in Monaco and is ready to talk about the most interesting boats we will see in the port of Hercule. Today we will be talking about toddlers - boats from 7 to 17 meters that can be used as superyacht tenders and more.

Cockwells Air-Sport 7.0

Any good tender should offer several different options for guests to come aboard. Cockwells Air-Sport 7.0 has aisles on both sides and aft. The Air-Sport baby can carry up to eight passengers and two crew members.

RIB's main advantage, according to the manufacturer, is a combination of RIB's advantages and the style and comfort of an open limousine. RIB Air-Sport 7.0 has a balloon on both sides, which allows it to park safely near the mother's superyacht or in the marina. From the limousine...well, it doesn't look much like a limousine to us, but its appearance is quite bright.

A champagne cooler can be hid at the base of the driver's seat and the boat can be fitted with a bimini-tent with adjustable height.

Air-Sport 7.0, equipped with a 250 HP Yanmar diesel engine with tilt-top column, can reach 36 knots.

Williams Evojet.

Williams Shipyard is perhaps the world's best-known manufacturer of inflatable side tenders. The company calls the seven-metre Evojet its most advanced and luxurious product to date.

It does have a lot of «chips» - like a folding T-top that can fit in even the lowest garage.

There are several different ways to get on board the Evojet: to the bow from starboard or starboard, where there are stairs in a couple of steps, or from the bathing platform without any steps at all, by unfolding the central seat. In the unfolded version, you can use a ring to tow a skier. The Evojet baby can carry up to 13 people in total.

The tender is equipped with a Yanmar 4LV engine for 230 horses and a water cannon. The innovative Propulsion Watermaker control system ensures the boat is manoeuvrable even in tight marinas and shallow water. For exploring hard-to-reach areas, the tender carries an increased fuel capacity of 200 litres on board.

Dutchcraft DC25

The all-electric Dutch trawler-style tender boots from Dutchcraft, founded this year by Zeelander founder Sietse Koopmans, have some interesting features.

First, he is said to be able to walk without recharging for up to 75 minutes at 32 knots. Secondly, the location of the furniture on board can be changed depending on the owner's needs almost on the move: the furniture runs on rails laid out along the perimeter of the deck. It is possible to remove one or both sofas; place them either on the move or against them; opposite each other or back to back (convenient for divers). If you clear the deck completely, there is enough room for several jet skis or even a 17-foot boat! The Hardtop can also be lowered or completely removed and the bow of the boat covered with it, giving you a protected storage space for everything.

Behind the central console there is space for up to eight diving sets. The transom can be reclined for ease of diving.

Finally, a very original gangway for boarding and disembarking - through the nose. The bow turns into a bridge where guests come aboard.

Onda 331GT

Greek shipyard Onda Tenders will bring to Monaco the Onda 331 GT 10m open tender. The 331 GT version with outboard engines was introduced as early as June, while the MYS will have a modification with two stationary diesel engines hidden under the stern sunbed.

For a mega-yacht owner, that's a big plus. Firstly, it is convenient when the tender and the mother boat «eat» the same thing, you can use your baby as a fuel storage. Secondly, the tender can now be equipped with a bathing platform (although some craftsmen, such as Greenline Yachts, solve this problem of outboard engines by installing a platform that rounds the engines). And thirdly, the pure appearance of the tender with retracted engines looks much more attractive.

Yanmar or Mercury are available as stationary motors. With the latest Onda 331 GT makes over 70 knots. However, the first hull to be brought to Monaco is the «Yanmar». But you can't complain about the slowness either: 50 knots even at full load when there are 12 people on board!

By the way, it is the tender from Onda that serves the owner and guests of the 85-meter megayacht O'Ptasia, the flagship of Golden Yachts. However, it is not an open version, but a limousine 321L.

Fairline F-Line 33

Italian style and British seaworthiness in one package is the new sports cruiser from Fairline. When you see it on the water, you'll never guess the brand, it's so different from ordinary shipyard products. As is usual, the company claimed something about the common DNA that Alberto Mancini kept, but we saw the boat live in Cannes and we didn't catch a particular family connection.

With the 430 hp engines of the Volvo Penta V8, the 10-metre speedboat accelerates to 45 knots. Below deck, she has a saloon with a V-shaped sofa and a dining table that convert into an extra bed, one cabin and a toilet with shower.

Sunseeker Hawk 38

It's been called «the fastest Sunshine in 20 years», and it's true that for the last 20 years the British shipyard has focused exclusively on medium to large size flybridge cruisers. But with the Hawk 38, the shipyard has gone back to its roots as it used to be famous for its speedboats.

Two of his untimely departed geniuses - Sunseeker founder Robert Braithwaite and his old friend, racer and founder of the fast boat design studio Fabio Buzzi. Breitwaite left on 7 March, Buzzi - just recently crashed off the coast of Venice during a speed record.

The first ten hulls of the Hawk 38 have a commemorative plaque with the Sunseeker founder's name and hull number. Since its release in June 2019, four Sunseeker hulls have been sold, so there is a chance to be among the top ten selected owners.

The Hawk 38 develops more than 60 knots with two outboard engines Mercury R400. But it is not just a speedboat, it can be used as a stylish and comfortable tender. Storage space is available in the bow and under the central section of the p-shaped sofa, which can be complemented by a table. Under the control post there is a latrine with a washstand. The integrated hi-end speakers throughout guarantee a ride not only with the breeze but also with music.

Continental 54

Founded in 2003, the Cantieri Navali del Mediterraneo Shipyard, the builder of the Continental 54, attributes the creation of the concept «of tender itself». On a site of the company it is asserted, that they have created new type of day cruisers with the developed forward zone of rest and have named this type «tenders». And then the term was picked up by other manufacturers, who began to play similar boats, and journalists.

The shipyard builds only 6-10 hulls per year, so the likelihood of seeing another such boat on the water is low.

Armed with MAN engines and Arneson semi-submersible propellers, the 16-metre Continental 54 has a top speed of 46 knots. In the bow lounge area there are transformable sofas, the section of which turns into a dining table. Under deck there is a cabin, galley and toilet with shower. Under the stairs there is a buffet with all the necessary dishes. There is even a captain's cabin next to the engine room with its own bathroom.

Wajer 55S

The 16 metre Wajer 55S hides three cabins for 4 to 6 people and a fully equipped bathroom below deck, while on deck there is a grill, fridge and ice maker. She is capable of carrying a large number of water toys and equipment including a Williams MiniJet tender, two seaboards, two paddleboards, diving equipment for four and two electric surfers.

Fuel in Wajer 55S tanks is enough for 19.5 hours of travel at a cruise speed of 28 knots.

And at the end it's a very beautiful boat, designed by Sander Sinot.

Anvera 55

It is a tender for fans of beach clubs. Its boards unfold to form an open area of 20 square meters. In order to take full advantage of this space, the Anvera 55 has three magical chairs that transform into sunbeds and even comfortable mattresses for swimming.

«The beach club» is equipped with a full rain shower and can be fully covered with a bimini-tent.

The boat is built entirely of multiaxial carbon. The protective bumpers all around are made of very thick high density PVC. The shape of the hardtop Anvera 55 is designed by the famous motorcycle racer Aldo Drudi D-Perf and does not prevent this lightweight aerodynamic boat from developing 55 knots worthy of respect.

Under deck, the Anvera 55 is surprisingly spacious, with a saloon with sofas and a TV, a double bed, two single beds and a full bathroom.
