They say a woman on a ship is bad luck. It's also said that blondes in pink aren't exactly shrewd. The women on Team SCA are shattering those stereotypes. The majority of the crew are blonde and sailing a Volvo Ocean 65 in electric pink. However, neither gender, hair colour nor boat colour was a hindrance to Team SCA's successful crossing of the Atlantic. The team set sail April 24 from Lanzarote and docked in Port Newport on May 8.
