The Women's Match Race World Championships concluded in Ekaterinburg on Saturday. Mac Lucy McGregor's team defended the championship title, dryly defeating the nearest pursuers Match in Pink by Normandy Elite Team under the leadership of Pauline Courtois. Three Russian teams competed in the regatta, all three reaching the quarterfinals. The best result was shown by Ekaterina Kochkina's ProKaTeam - fifth place in the overall standings.
