World famous designer Donald Starkey started his work in the far 80s. At first, the future master tried to realize himself in architecture, but in 1989 he tried his hand at the marine industry. Since then the designer's name has been flashed repeatedly in leading yachting publications and many of his methods have become classics.
Today, no Donald's project is being ignored by the public. The boats built keep high resale value and are in great demand.
The designer draws his inspiration from the works of legendary Le Corbusier, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and even Coco Chanel.
Donald Starkey Studio has an impressive portfolio of elegant and timeless luxury boats. The company specializes in interior and exterior design for semi-custom and custom superyachts.
Cooperation with shipyards
In 30 years, Donald has built partnerships with all the well-known shipyards in the large boat segment. Among them Abeking & Rasmussen, Turquoise Yachts, Oceanco, Feadship, Hakvoort, Lurssen and others.
The master's work has won more than 26 awards at international yachting exhibitions. The interiors of Luna were one of the most striking examples. The boat is one of the five largest expedition-class superyachts. So far, almost nothing is known about the interior design of this vessel, but it is rumoured that they are made in a luxurious style and meet the best traditions of Donald Starkey Designs.
Donald remains the head and thought leader of an experienced design team. The company's head office is located in Dubai.
