The history of the brand
Hot Lab Studio began its history in Milan in 2004 with the partnership of three talented designers - Michele Dragoni, Enrico Lumini and Antonio Romano.
Drawing on past experience in automotive, industrial and interior design, the team has been offering outstanding solutions from day one. It took the firm less than 10 years to gain worldwide recognition.
Philosophy
The studio uses time-tested technology and modern working methods. Each design of the yacht is first drawn by hand and then translated into 3D on the computer. The team also believes that a comprehensive approach, from sketching to shipyard support and delivery to the customer, is the key to quality design.
Speciality .
The rhinestone company has decided on the main direction and develops exteriors and interiors for superyachts.
Cooperation with shipyards
Hot Lab has gained fame not only in Italy, but also abroad. The experience of the studio is trusted by such shipbuilders as Arcadia, Baglietto, Bilgin Yacht, Columbus, Filippetti, Heesen Yachts, ICE Yachts, Icon, Mondomarine, Nobiskrug, Oceanco, RMK and others.
Landmark projects
The studio has designedArcadia Sherpa XLwhich was named one of the best boats of 2019 at the Monaco Expo. In 2016, Mondomarine launched a 49m Ipanema. The hull is in an attractive sporty red colour and the interiors are in a classic style.
Team
Today the studio is managed by two partners - Development and Marketing Director Antonio Romano and Chief Designer Enrico Lumini. The Hot Lab team also includes on a permanent basis Antonio Scognamiglio, Chiara Pastore, Elena Seregni and Simone Maggioni.
