More than 40 classic boats and sailors from 7 countries competed for one of the most prestigious trophies in the Mediterranean, the Puig Vela Clàssica trophy. There is a tragic and yet inspiring story behind one of the Puig Vela Clàssica winners. The owner of Guia, Ramón Rosés, died a few days before the event. His last wish was for his boat and crew to compete. The crew not only granted this wish but also won the Classic 1 race. The team dedicated their victory to the memory of the owner Guia.
