From April 12 to 30, all lovers of seafaring and science will be able to watch what's happening on the ocean floor live. The NOAAS Okeanos Explorer, a ship dedicated to the study of life in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, will allow everyone to learn about the life of corals and other organisms that inhabited ships that sank over two hundred years ago.
In addition to live broadcasts from depths of up to 3,000 metres, the scientists plan to post archived videos, photographs, textual recordings and commentary by ocean scientists to the web.
