The Barcelona World Race is the world's only two-person round-the-world race. The battle between the seven crews for first place lasted 84 days and 5 hours (there were eliminations ), which is how long it took the French-Swissduo on theCheminées Poujoulat to reach the finish line. Afterwards, one of the participants confessed: "We didn't believe to the last minute that we could win and only realised it was possible after we crossed the finish line". You can follow the fate of other crews on the regatta website.
