11 teams from 7 countries competed for the Nations Cup and the title of European champion in the ClubSwan 50 class at The Nations Trophy held from 10 to 14 October in Mallorca. Russia was represented by 2 teams - Bronenosets Vladimir Lubomirov and Andrey Konogorov's Skorpios. The Saint Petersburg Yacht Club team managed to win the silver medal thanks to two victories on the last (and only windy) day of the race, and also thanks to their good luck: in the last race, the team Niramo, which was aiming for second place, was disqualified due to a protest.
