Yachting comes in many forms. Oleg Tinkov, who is included in the Forbes ranking of the 200 richest people in Russia - 2019, is firmly convinced of this. The SeaExplorer 77 icebreaker boat, which is being built by Dutch Damen, will help him to sail to places inaccessible to others.

Kamchatka, «Rosneft»... purchase of SeaExplorer 77
And Oleg Tinkov looked at the explorer like this. In 2016, the banker returned from another trip to Kamchatka, and in his hands accidentally got a catalogue of the shipyard Damen, which together with «Rosneft» is developing ships to supply ice-resistant oil and gas platforms. By the way, at that time the SeaExplorer prototype was still 75 meters long - it grew later.
Armed to the teeth.
The six-deck ice class expedition vessel is equipped with hangars for two helicopters, garages for two snowmobiles and four jet skis at once. The SeaExplorer 77 has so much to offer for a reason - not much of an unexpected event. Plus we note a diving center with a decompression chamber and a submarine. In turn, the increased fuel tanks allow the yacht to stay in autonomous navigation for up to 40 days.
«La Dacha» is a big luck.
Obviously, SeaExplorer 77 is an expensive pleasure. €100 million is the minimum that Oleg Tinkov parted with while purchasing it. However, the boat can be more than paid off. How? Look. The businessman has La Datcha project: he rents his houses and yachts to all those who have enough money for it. For a week you can get a superyacht icebreaker for €690,000. And demand is there. Bill Gates, according to Tinkov, has already wondered if «La Dacha» can be rented at once for three weeks.
