About
Company history
Angelo Ficcadenti's journey from the first thoughts of his own shipyard to a functioning production facility took only one year, opening Ortona Navi in 1974. The company's goal was to introduce automated technology to sailing superyachts to reduce crew size. With this in mind, new vessels were designed. As a result, the sloops and caches of the shipyards are in great demand all over the world.
In the 90's the company received orders for cargo ships and boats for the fire brigade, which helped the company to gain experience that led to a new direction - motor superyachts.
