History of the company

Brooke Marine initially built boats under its own brand at contractor yards, producing engines and cars in parallel. By 1911, the marine division had launched its own factory in Lostostoft. Two years later, the company revised its priorities and fully focused on building boats. During the World Warriors period, the company worked actively on the «defense», but then switched to the commercial and private sector. At one time Brooke Marine produced fishing boats for the USSR.

Status .

From 1977 to 1985 the company was owned by the state, and then was bought out by managing managers. Then the company changed its ownership several times until it shut down in 1992.

Production

The Brooke Marine plant was located in Lowstoft on the North Sea coast. It is noteworthy that the legal entity remains to this day. Nowadays the firm rents the remaining production premises.

Fleet

The fleet of the enterprise included steel vessels with length from 20 to 93 meters. Among them there are classic sailing superyachts, fast custom boats and powerful expedition vessels.

Features

Quite extensive experience in shipbuilding allowed the company to take on any projects, and the company's capacity did not limit customers in the size of their future boats. The quality of the assembly should also be paid tribute: one of the most respected representatives of the shipyard, the 31-meter Eros kech, has already changed the eighth ten.
